LPD K9 Team in the Community One of Livonia Police Department's most handsome new officers, a 14-month-old German Sheppard named Gandalf - made a visit to Mrs. Barikowski's 3rd grade class at Buchanan Elementary with his partner and trainer Officer Rick Ostrowski. The excited students volleyed question after question at the K-9 team and then received Livonia Police pencils and stickers before returning to their regular day. Gandalf is off to a fantastic start with Officer Ostrowski as the pair tracked and arrested the suspect in the Webster School arson earlier this year.
